OK, this one is for a blogger friend, 12beersaday.com. He obviously loves beer, so Chandler, why not do like this guy?
Ben Cook (Redland, California) is only 27 years old, and started a succesful business making something he loves: beer. You can read an article about his story HERE.
He was a biology student. He bought a micro-brewery just out of curiosity, as he liked experimenting, and fell in love with it. After that he got a job at a Bush brewery, wher he was doing quality assurance.
His newly started hobby developed into a job, and into a deep passion. He even went into a program that taught about brewing. And when he got married, him and his wife went for their honeymoon in a tour off all the famous beer-drinking countries in Europe.
Ben is also passionate about flying, already took lessons and flew, and hopes to get his pilot licence. Beer does mix well with flying in this case.
The entreprenurial young man found an open spot next to the airport, and together with his dad and a bunch of volunteers ready to help, he turned the building into his brewery. He makes pale ale, and uses spices, herbs and fruits, hoping to come up with new and interesting flavours. The airport brings him business, and he brings people to the airport area, having tours in the brewery and also selling beer on the spot.
His brewery is called Hangar 24 Craft Brewery (make sure you visit his site and see what he accomplished). The logo for his beer is an aircraft, and the Hangar 24 beer sells only localy so far. But who knows, maybe in the future we’ll all be asking the bartender for a Hangar with orange flavour?
Conclusion
To have a real passion and interest for something is not to be taken lightly, all you have to do is start with small steps and see where that leads you. Stories like this are always so inspiring to me, to see how something that started as a small hobby can turn into a successful business. This man’s passion is obvious, he enjoys what he’s doing so much, that he’s always ready to learn more and experiment. That’s what will bring him success.
Thanks for reading! You can leave a comment, and subscribe too! Do you know of anybody that started a brewery business, or any other kind of business out of a hobby? What do you think about this? What’s your hobby? Could it eventually pay out?

How a young man started a successful business, making beer. Inspirational stories to help you succeed….
Good Idea, I should definitely look into it. I like writing better though ;).
Chandler, thanks for the comment.
You could just get a micro-brewery and make your own beer at home. That I think would be very interesting for your readers, if you documented your beer making and experimenting on your blog, together with the other topics you write about
Yeah that would be a great idea, except that requires money, which at the present moment my site nor my job is making me much of. But, I am going to play the lottery tonight so maybe things will change. lol.
Chandler, I hear you, you’re right! Hopefully you’ll have the winning ticket :))
